About Me:

I graduated with a Finance degree from the University of Oklahoma, which set me on a path to a rewarding career with State Farm. I held various roles at State Farm in Hutchinson, Great Bend, and Kansas City before making Salina, Kansas, my home in 1993. I officially opened my State Farm Insurance Agency on January 1, 1996.

I have been happily married to my wife, Sherry, for over 34 years, and we are blessed with two adult children and a delightful three-year-old granddaughter who brings us so much happiness.

Our son, Matt, is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, where he focuses on aviation to keep our jets mission ready. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments. Matt is newly engaged and look forward to bringing his fiancé into our family.

Our daughter, Hannah, was the Director of Golf and Women's Golf Coach at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina until the spring semester of 2022. Under her leadership, the Kansas Wesleyan Women’s golf team clinched the KCAC conference championship in both 2021 and 2022, and she was honored as the KCAC Coach of the Year during the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons. She is currently working as a substitute teacher in Illinois.

Our son-in-law, Myers Hendrickson, is the Senior Football Analyst at the University of Illinois. Previously, he was the Head Football Coach at his alma mater, Western Illinois University, and before that, he held the same position at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, where he led the team to the NAIA playoffs quarterfinals in 2021.

At home, we are accompanied by two adorable rescue dogs, Bella, a lab mix, and Daisy, a miniature Aussie, who mostly fill our days with joy.
