About me:

After graduating with a Finance degree from the University of Oklahoma, my career path led me to State Farm. I held various positions with State Farm in Hutchinson, Great Bend, and Kansas City before settling in Salina, Kansas in 1993. On January 1, 1996, I began my career as a State Farm Insurance Agency owner.

I have been happily married to my wife, Sherry, for over 33 years. We are blessed with a three-year-old granddaughter who brings us great joy.

Our son, Matt, is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps specializing in the aviation field to ensure the jets are flying. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments.

Our daughter, Hannah, was the Director of Golf and Women's Golf Coach at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina through the spring semester of 2022. The Kansas Wesleyan Women's golf team won the KCAC conference championship in 2021 and 2022 and Hannah was the KCAC coach of the year during the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons. She is now employed by Abilene Christian University as a Graduate Student Counselor.

Our son-in-law Myers Hendrickson , is a football defensive analyst at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Formerly the Head Football Coach at his Alma mater, Western Illinois University. Prior to Western Illinois he held the same position at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas advancing to the quarterfinals in the NAIA playoffs in 2021.

In our home, we have two adorable (most of the time) rescue dogs, Bella (a lab mix) and Daisy (a miniature Aussie).
